Wake up and make our way in silence to the yoga shala for pranayama (breathing practice), followed by a themed yoga asana practice. Then we take time to enjoy breakfast and a chat. You’re now free to enjoy a massage session (excluded – book at reception), or go exploring: Escape into the coolness and tranquillity of the native beech forest and ferns on the Queen Charlotte Track (20 mins walk to the track). Hire a kayak at the resort and take to the water. The resort is located on the heart of Queen Charlotte track
Practice 1.5 hours—either a Yin/restorative practice and/or a yoga Nidra (a very deep relaxation practice).
The owner of Anahata Yoga Studio in Wellington, Jennifer Salisbury has many years of experience in teaching and running yoga retreats around the Asia Pacific. Jennifer specializes in working with group combinations of differing body types, ages, and levels of experience.
